Nagaland Judicial Services exam is conducted by Gauhati High Court, Kohima Bench for recruitment of Grade III Civil Judge for Nagaland State. The advertisement inviting application for Civil Judge Grade III recruitment against one vacancy was released by Gauhati High Court on 16th May 2019. However, due to some difficulties the exam could not be conducted.

The Nagaland Judicial Services Examination 2022 (Grade III) dates will be notified by the Gauhati High Court, Kohima Bench, which shall be available on the official website of the Gauhati High Court viz. https://kohimahighcourt.gov.in/home.php

Notification of the Vacancies

The official notification regarding the filling up of 1 (one) vacancies for the post of Grade III Civil Judge posts in Nagaland Judicial Services Exam 2019 was announced by the Gauhati High Court on 16th May 2022. However, the exam for the same has not been conducted till now & the new notification regarding the latest vacancies for the post shall be available on the official website of the Gauhati High Court viz. https://kohimahighcourt.gov.in/home.php

Nagaland Judicial Services Exam 2022: Exam Pattern

The Nagaland Judicial Services Exam 2022 is conducted in three stages namely Preliminary, Mains & Interview. The details regarding these stages of the exam are as follows:

Preliminary Examination

  1. The Prelims Examination shall consist of Objective type questions.
  2. There will be 100 questions for 100 marks (1 mark Each)
  3. Time Duration shall be 2 hours to attempt each paper.
  4. Top 10 Candidates against one vacancy from the rank wise merit list qualifying the Prelims Exams shall be eligible to appear for Mains Examination.

Mains Examination

  1. Mains Examination consists of four papers with time limit of 3 hours to attempt each Paper & shall be conducted in descriptive answer writing format.
  2. Each paper shall carry 100 Marks.
  3. The four question papers of Mains Exam shall consist of:

  5. Paper II: General Knowledge (100 marks)
  6. Paper III: Law Paper I (100 Marks)
  7. Paper IV: Law Paper II (100 Marks)

Interview Round

Those candidates who clear Mains Exams shall be called for Interview Round which constitute 70 Marks in Total. The final merit will be prepared on the basis of the marks attained by the candidates in the main examination & viva-voce.
