Candidates must fulfil the following educational and professional requirements:

Educational Qualification

• A regular full-time three-year LL.B. degree from a recognised university with at least 50% marks or an equivalent CGPA; or
• A regular full-time degree in a five-year integrated law course from a recognised university with at least 50% marks or an equivalent CGPA.

• A minimum of 15 years of post-qualification executive experience in legal matters, including experience as an Advocate, either individually or in combination with other relevant experience.
• Relevant experience may be acquired in banking, NBFCs, financial institutions, public sector undertakings (PSUs), government departments, reputed legal organisations, or through legal practice as an Advocate in the relevant field.
• The experience must have been acquired after obtaining the qualifying LL.B. degree.
• Candidates must possess valid enrolment to practise as an Advocate wherever required under applicable laws or rules.
• Teaching and training experience, including induction training, will not be counted towards the required years of experience.
