About the Job

Lawkins is looking for a Litigation Associate with strong legal expertise to join the team. The ideal candidate should possess a unique blend of analytical, legal, and technical acumen to handle complex litigation matters involving intellectual property, regulatory, and commercial disputes, while also possessing skill & experience in corporate advisory and contract drafting.

Eligibility

• 0-2 years of post-qualification experience in Litigation & Dispute Resolution.
• LL.B. from a reputed law school.
• Strong drafting, research, and analytical skills.
• Hands-on experience with court appearances and litigation procedures.
• Ability to work independently, as well as, in a team.
• Good communication and client-handling skills

Responsibilities

• Drafting and reviewing pleadings such as plaints, written statements, rejoinders, applications, affidavits, and appeals.
• Representing clients and assisting seniors in proceedings before District Courts, High Courts, Tribunals and IP offices.
• Conducting legal research, case law analysis, and preparing briefs and notes for hearings.
• Coordinating with clients and internal teams for case strategy and updates.
• Managing filings, hearings, and compliance with procedural requirements.
