About the Job

Kayser & Company is hiring a Litigation Associate

Eligibility

• 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞: 2 years
• 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: LL.B. (mandatory); LL.M. with specialization in IP (preferred)
• Strong command over trademark and copyright laws, with knowledge of
• patent and design laws.
• Legal drafting, research, and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple matters with strict
• deadlines.
• Good communication skills (written and verbal) for client interaction and
• regulatory correspondence.
• Proficiency in IP databases and online filing systems.

Responsibilities

• Drafting, filing, and prosecuting trademark, copyright, and design applications before the Trade Marks Registry, Copyright Office, and Patent Office.
• Preparing responses to examination reports, oppositions, rectifications, and appeals.
• Conducting IP searches, opinions, and due diligence exercises.
• Maintaining and updating docketing records, deadlines, and prosecution status reports.
