About the Call for Blogs

The Journal Committee and the Newsletter Committee invite submissions from students and researchers for publication on Lex Rex. The blog seeks to publish original, insightful, and structured pieces that critically engage with legal developments, policy concerns, and emerging issues in law.

Eligibility

Submissions are open to:

  • Undergraduate and postgraduate law students
  • Students from allied disciplines with a demonstrated interest in legal studies

Theme

The blog follows an open theme. Submissions may engage with any contemporary or relevant issue in law, policy, or interdisciplinary areas.

Submission Categories

The blog accepts submissions under the following categories:

  • Legal Articles
  • Case Notes and Case Commentaries
  • Opinion and Policy Commentary
  • Legislative and Legal Updates
  • Book and Literature Reviews

Formatting Guidelines

  • Submissions must be in Times New Roman, font size 12, with justified alignment.
  • The manuscript must be original and unpublished.
  • The content should be well-structured, coherent, and analytically sound.
  • Citations must be properly formatted in accordance with the citation style prescribed in the detailed policy document.
  • The writing style should be formal, clear, and accessible to a wider audience.

Submission Guidelines

  • The blog follows a rolling submission model, and manuscripts may be submitted at any time during the year.
  • All submissions will undergo a preliminary editorial screening.
  • Shortlisted manuscripts will be subject to faculty review based on the subject matter.
  • The Editorial Team reserves the right to set specific deadlines for themed editions or special series.
  • Late or incomplete submissions may be rejected at the discretion of the Editorial Team.
