About the Internship
Politics for Impact is inviting applications for Legislative Research Interns to join its Policy & Research vertical during the Monsoon Session of Parliament 2026. This is a hands-on opportunity to work closely with ongoing parliamentary processes.
Eligibility
- Students or recent graduates in law, public policy, economics, political science, or related fields
- Strong writing and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work with deadlines in an in-office setup
- Prior legislative research experience (preferred, not mandatory)
- Familiarity with Andhra Pradesh politics/Telugu (desirable)
- Strong qualitative and quantitative research skills
Responsibilities
- Conduct research and data analysis on government schemes
- Draft parliamentary interventions (Questions, Zero Hour, Rule 377)
- Analyze bills and committee agendas
- Track parliamentary proceedings and key developments
- Support reports and knowledge outputs

June – September 2026 (4 months)
