School of Law, Forensic Justice and Policy Studies is established to impart professional education with a special focus on forensic application in all allied areas of law and policy framework.

About the Competition

The School of Law Forensic Justice and Policy Studies, National Forensic Sciences University in association with Legal Startups organises Legal Hackathon a “State Level Business Plan Competition on Legal Innovation & Legal Startups”.

The legal field has been facing various challenges for the last few decades, especially in terms of pendency of cases and complex legal compliance. To address these situations, they wanted to come up with innovative mechanisms, and initiatives in the said field. Innovation and Startups in the legal field are the answer to this. We can witness many startups have come up in the legal field in the last few years, especially by young minds. Ministries, Government Departments /bodies have initiated various innovative schemes for serving people at large.

To promote and support various ideas related to law and allied field, we at the School of Law, Forensic Justice & Policy Studies, National Forensic Sciences University, Gandhinagar in association with Legal Startups has organized a unique State-Level Business Plan Competition on Legal Innovation & Legal Startups. They appeal to and encourage the young generation to present their proposed startup’s idea in the competition.

Objectives of the Competition

• To promote legal start-ups.
• To motivate students, identify their own prospects in Legal Field.
• To provide all possible support required to set up Legal Start-ups.

Awards and Certificates

• Winner – Cash Prize of Rs. 25,000/-, Memento & Certificate of Merit
• 1 st Runner Up – Cash Prize of Rs. 15,000/-, Memento & Certificate of Merit
• 2 nd Runner Up – Cash Prize of Rs. 10,000/-, Memento & Certificate of Merit
• All the entries will be given a certificate of participation
