About the Opportunity

The National Law Institute University is invited for the post of Research Assistant for a research project sponsored by the Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India.

Eligibility

•  Language Proficiency: Applicants must be fluent in English. Proficiency in at least one of the following languages—Hindi — Odia—is desirable.
• Experience: Previous experience working with state or local authorities in Bihar, Odisha, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh is desirable.
• Minimum Qualification: LL.M degree with a minimum of 55% marks. Specialization in international trade law/ business laws is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Nature of the Work: Research cum field visits. Applicants are required to be on campus and expected to travel as and when required.
• Responsibility: The duties of the research assistants will include extensive travel and data collection from the following five states, namely Bihar, Odisha, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.

Duration

The appointment will be for a period of three (03) months initially. Upon review, the term may be extended further for a period of (06) months.
