About the Job

Macquarie is hiring for the role of Executive | Legal Request Officer within its Legal and Governance Central division. The role involves managing and processing sensitive third-party information requests while coordinating with legal, compliance, and risk teams to ensure regulatory and procedural compliance.

Eligibility

• 4–6 years of paralegal or legal assistant experience in legal or regulatory environments
• Experience handling confidential and sensitive information
• Familiarity with legal processes such as subpoenas, court orders, and regulatory notices
• Experience in case management systems for logging, tracking, and maintaining records
• Ability to manage competing priorities and stakeholders effectively

Responsibilities

• Managing end-to-end processing of third-party information requests including subpoenas, law enforcement inquiries, court orders, and regulatory notices
• Reviewing and triaging requests to validate scope, authenticity, and procedural compliance
• Applying legal judgment across multiple jurisdictions and business units
• Coordinating with Legal, Compliance, Records Management, and Risk teams
• Ensuring responses are timely, accurate, and compliant with organisational obligations
• Maintaining records through central case management systems
