They are looking for a Legal, Public Policy & Government Affairs Intern who’s passionate about the intersection of law, technology, and governance. This role offers hands-on experience in understanding the legal and regulatory side of digital innovation, outdoor advertising, and government liaising while contributing to the larger vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in researching and analyzing legal and regulatory frameworks related to digital outdoor advertising in India.
• Proactive in supporting the team to draft key contracts, including, but not limited to, Master Services Agreements, Lease Agreements, Partnership Agreements, and Non-Disclosure Agreements, amongst others.
• Create white papers in select priority areas and prepare strategic proposals to key stakeholders, building the brand with government stakeholders.
• Support the team in ensuring compliance with major advertising guidelines and standards across our campaign states.
• Help in drafting and reviewing legal documents, reports, and policy briefs.
• Monitor developments in public policy and government affairs that may impact the outdoor advertising sector.
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide legal and policy insights on various projects.
• Conduct legal research on contractual and commercial matters.
• Assist in managing regulatory risks and providing guidance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, Public Policy, Political Science, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of the policy space, legal principles, and research methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to analyze complex information and synthesize it into clear, concise summaries.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Familiarity with Intellectual Property (IP) laws, Tech Laws, and Advertisement Guidelines/Laws is a plus.
• Experience in contract drafting and management is desirable but not necessary.
