About the Job

Chamber dealing predominantly in criminal law is seeking a legal professional to assist with ongoing matters and assignments before the Trial Courts in Delhi and the High Court of Delhi. Their vision emphasizes the collective growth of both the office and the professional.

Eligibility

• (PQE- 0-2 years)
• A zealous individual with initiative and a proactive approach.
• A basic understanding of litigation, court procedures, and filings (prior litigation experience preferred).
• Demonstrated experience in drafting.
• Third-year (LL.B) and Fourth or Final-year (BA/BBALL.B) students are welcome to apply and will be assigned tasks equivalent to a counsel, only short of advancing submissions before the court.

Responsibilities

•  Drafting pleadings, complaints, suits, petitions, applications, etc., for filings before the Trial Courts and the High Court.
•  Trial work, contesting suits premised on extensive research related to ongoing cases and developing strategies.
• Counselling clients, coordinating tasks, and fulfilling assignments (acting as the client’s primary contact).
• Drafting and vetting various contracts and ensuring general legal compliance for corporate clients.
• Drafting and vetting agreements tailored to client requirements.
• Undertaking research projects and compilations on specified subjects (weekly assignments).
• Counsels and interns currently engaged elsewhere are also encouraged to apply.
• Applicants may work elsewhere as long as they meet deadlines and fulfil commitments.
• Applicant is free to work remotely after the court hours.
• Work may be assigned on Weekends.
