S&A Law Offices is looking for motivated and detail-oriented professionals to join its growing Arbitration team in the positions of Senior Associate, Principal Associate, or Senior Principal Associate.

The role involves handling Civil and Commercial Litigation and Arbitration matters, particularly those related to sectors such as road, airport, and energy.

Candidates should have:

• A BA LL.B. or LL.B. qualification.
• 7+ years of experience.
• Experience in handling Civil suits and Commercial Litigation/Arbitration related to the road, airport, and energy sectors.
• Experience in handling arbitration matters independently or as part of a team.
• Experience in different models, theories, and legal principles relating to the quantification of claims.

Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be involved in:

• Handling arbitration matters from the stage of data assimilation, data discovery, and research.
• Assisting with the calculation of claims.
• Working on insurance of demand notices and notices invoking arbitration.
• Drafting statements of claim, statements of defence, counterclaims, and other related pleadings and applications before Tribunals and Courts.
• Working on evidence and argument notes.
• Drafting petitions challenging arbitral awards and other related pleadings and applications.
• Participating in, assisting with, or handling cross-examinations, including briefing seniors.
• Undertaking research work, including case law research and technical research.
