About the Job

SS Rana & Co. is hiring for the position of Associate Advocate – Trademark. The role involves handling trademark prosecution, oppositions, legal opinions, and client portfolio management.

Eligibility

• 1–5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE)
• LL.B. (3-year or 5-year course) / LL.M.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

Responsibilities

• Trademark searches and opinions
• Filing and prosecution of trademark applications
• Providing legal opinions on trademark matters
• Preparing, maintaining, and updating client trademark portfolios
• Handling client queries on IP practices in India
• Drafting legal opinions

Preparing:

• Notice of Opposition
• Counter Statement Reply
• Notices
• Rejoinders
• Handling oppositions, cancellations, rectifications, and affidavits
• Attending show cause hearings at the Trademark Registry
• Managing IP filings, prosecution, and renewals
