About the Internship

FuelBuddy is seeking a highly motivated In-House Counsel to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 0-1 years of post-qualification experience with a solid foundation in court practices, legal research and file management. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work closely with experienced advocates and gain exposure to a variety of legal matters.

Eligibility

• LL.B. (Hons.) / B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) degree from a recognised University.
• 0-2 years of post-qualification experience with hands-on experience in court procedures.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and other relevant office tools.
• Internships with reputed law firms and/or advocates are highly desirable.
• Strong research, drafting and communication skills.
• Should have their own laptop.
• Willing to work 6 days a week- 5 days from Office & Sat WFH.
• Will be eligible for full time role, with subject to the performance.

Responsibilities

• Assisting senior In-house counsel in the drafting and reviewing of legal agreements, contracts and other relevant documents
• Drafting legal notices and reply to legal notices
• Legal research and preparation of case summaries
• IPR portfolio management
• Attending court proceedings and hearings
• Utilise MS Word and Excel for documentation and file management.
• Assist in the administrative functions of the legal team, including scheduling of meetings and maintaining of documents, correspondence and case files.
• Coordinate with external law firms and advocates, as required.
