About the Job

National Forensic Sciences University is looking to fill eight Assistant Professor positions on a contractual basis under the School of Law, Forensic Justice and Policy Studies (SLFJPS).

Number of Posts

There are eight vacancies for the position of Assistant Professor.

Eligibility

For Law, candidates should hold a Ph.D. in Law or a concerned/allied/relevant discipline, with a minimum of 60% marks or an equivalent grade at the preceding degree level. Candidates should have a Master’s degree in Law from a recognised university or equivalent, with a very good academic record throughout. Experience in Constitutional Law, Corporate Law, and concerned/allied/relevant fields is desirable.

For Cyber Law, candidates should hold a Ph.D. in a concerned/allied/relevant discipline, with a minimum of 60% marks or an equivalent grade at the preceding degree level. Candidates should have a Master’s degree in Cyber Law from a recognised university or equivalent, with a very good academic record throughout. Experience in the field of Cyber Law is desirable.

For IT / Computer Applications / Data Science, candidates should hold a Ph.D. in a concerned/allied/relevant discipline, with a minimum of 60% marks or an equivalent grade at the preceding degree level. The preceding qualification may include M.Sc., MCA, ME, or M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering, Information Security, Cyber Security, Cyber Forensics, Digital Forensics, Network Technology, Information Technology, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, or a concerned/allied/relevant discipline from a recognised university or equivalent, with a very good academic record throughout. Experience in Data Science, Digital Forensics, Cyber Security, or a relevant domain is desirable.

Nature of Appointment

The positions are offered on a contractual basis.
