About the Internship

Internal Audit Team is looking for a long-term intern (6 months) for the Legal Compliance vertical. Position: Legal Intern – Compliance Team

Eligibility

• Currently pursuing an LLB degree with prior internship experiences with Lawyers, Law firms, etc.
• Strong analytical, research, and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Manupatra).

Responsibilities

As a Legal Intern on the Compliance Team, you will assist in reviewing legal, statutory and regulatory requirements. This position offers hands-on experience in compliance, legal research, and risk management, providing valuable insights into Labour Laws, Environmental Laws, Pharmaceutical Laws and other industry-specific laws.

• Conduct legal research on regulatory and compliance matters. Assist lawyers in the team in developing, reviewing, and updating compliance policies and procedures.
• Support compliance audits and monitoring activities. Compile and organize legal documents and records for review.
• Draft and review contracts, agreements, and other legal documentation.
