About the Job

Mysore Deep Perfumery House is hiring a Legal Executive. As a Legal Executive will play a crucial role in ensuring the legal compliance and integrity of our business operations. This position involves working closely with various departments to provide legal guidance, manage contracts, and address legal issues that may arise. The ideal candidate will have a strong legal background, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law from a recognized institution.
• 2 – 3 years of experience as a legal executive, preferably in the FMCG industry.
• Knowledge of Indian corporate and commercial laws.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

Contract Management:

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations in all contracts.

Regulatory Compliance:

• Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting the FMCG industry.
• Provide guidance to different departments to ensure compliance with legal requirements.

Dispute Resolution:

• Assist in resolving legal disputes and conflicts that may arise.
• Work with external legal counsel when necessary.

Intellectual Property:

• Manage and protect the company’s intellectual property, including trademarks and patents.
• Conduct IP searches and monitor for potential infringements.

Corporate Governance:

• Support in maintaining and enhancing corporate governance standards.
• Assist in organizing and documenting board meetings.

Legal Research:

• Conduct legal research on various topics to support decision-making processes.
• Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations relevant to the industry.

Policy Development:

• Assist in the development and implementation of company policies.
• Ensure that policies are in compliance with applicable laws.

Training and Awareness:

• Provide legal training to employees on relevant topics.
• Raise awareness about legal issues and promote a culture of compliance.
