About the Job

Jungleworks is a technology-driven company seeking a legal professional to join its team and assist in managing its legal affairs as the organisation continues to expand its operations.

The Legal Executive will be responsible for handling a broad range of legal matters, including contract drafting and review, compliance-related work, government liaison activities, and litigation management. The role requires a proactive legal professional capable of supporting the organisation’s legal and regulatory requirements.

Eligibility

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognised institution.
  • 2–3 years of legal experience in a law firm or IT company.
  • Strong understanding of legal principles, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and modify legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and legal notices.
  • Ensure legal documentation complies with applicable regulations and legal standards.
  • Develop and manage contracts, including HR documents, SaaS agreements, non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), and other commercial agreements.
  • Review contractual terms and conditions to safeguard the organisation’s interests.
  • Liaise with government agencies to obtain required approvals and licences.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and support compliance initiatives.
  • Manage legal disputes and litigation matters on behalf of the organisation.
  • Coordinate with external counsel, prepare case-related documentation, and assist in legal proceedings and negotiations.
