About the Job
JLL is hiring an Executive – Workplace Compliance to support workplace operations by ensuring adherence to applicable labour laws, statutory regulations, corporate compliance standards and internal governance requirements.
The role involves driving compliance programmes, managing audits, mitigating risks and working with internal stakeholders and vendor organisations to maintain a compliance framework across locations.
Eligibility
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB).
Preferred
- Company Secretary (CS) or Chartered Accountant (CA).
- Additional qualifications in Compliance, Risk Management or Governance.
Responsibilities
- Support labour law compliance programmes and risk management initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to applicable labour laws and statutory requirements, including CLRA, Shops & Establishments Act, PF, ESI, Professional Tax, Labour Welfare Fund and building compliance requirements.
- Identify compliance risks and implement preventive controls.
- Review audit observations, statutory notices, litigation risks, vendor compliance issues and corrective action plans.
- Participate in internal and external audits, statutory reviews and government inspections.
- Monitor and close audit observations through documentation and evidence validation.
- Coordinate CLRA licensing, registrations, amendments and annual return submissions where required.
- Monitor vendor participation in compliance audits and submission of statutory documents.
- Collect and validate workforce headcount information and contractor workforce data.
- Coordinate labour law, PF, ESI and CLRA inspections.
- Track statutory notices and support timely responses.
- Support resolution of labour law disputes and compliance-related issues.
- Coordinate building compliance tracking activities with relevant teams.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc compliance reports for leadership.
- Present audit results, compliance metrics, risks and corrective action plans during governance forums.
