About Symbiosis Law School, Pune

Symbiosis International (Deemed University) (SIU) was established in the year 1971. Symbiosis Law School, Pune (SLS Pune) has been a constituent of SIU since 2002.  The India Today-Nielsen study has placed SLS-P among the top 10 law schools in India every year since 2007. It is listed as one of the top three law schools in the Super Excellence Survey 2019 by GHRDC, and it is ranked number five by the National Institution Ranking Framework (NIRF) of the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.

There will be six competitions as part of our cultural and legal fest this year:

4. 1^st Nithin Patil Memorial SymArbitrate Advocacy Settlement Agreement Drafting Competition, 2025 [March 30, 2025: Submission]
5. 1^st Nithin Patil Memorial SymArbitrate Advocacy Judgement Writing Competition, 2025 [March 30, 2025: Submission]
6. Legal Policy Drafting Competition on “EU Climate Justice”, 2025 [March 30, 2025: Submission]

Participation certificates will be awarded to all participants, in all of the above competitions. The awards of ‘Winner’ and ‘Runner Up’ will be awarded in the 1^st Nithin Patil Memorial SymArbitrate Advocacy Deal Mediation Competition, 2025, 1^st Nithin Patil Memorial SymArbitrate Advocacy Negotiation Competition, 2025, 1^st Nithin Patil Memorial SymArbitrate Advocacy Settlement Agreement Drafting Competition, 2025, 1^st Nithin Patil Memorial SymArbitrate Advocacy Judgement Writing Competition, 2025, Legal Policy Drafting Competition on “EU Climate Justice”, 2025. The awards of ‘Best Client’ & ‘Best Counsel’ will be awarded in the 1^st Nithin Patil Memorial SymArbitrate Advocacy Client Counselling Competition, 2025. All the competitions carry attractive cash prizes.
