About the Job
Haleon is hiring for the role of Specialist – Legal Counsel (Contracts). The role involves supporting global legal teams by delivering efficient and standardized legal support services from Haleon Group Legal’s Legal Shared Services Centre in Bengaluru.
Eligibility
- Bachelor of Law (LL.B) or equivalent legal qualification.
- 2–8 years post-qualification experience with exposure to global contracting.
- Prior experience in legal operations, shared services, or an in-house legal function.
- Experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
- Familiarity with global contracting standards.
- Experience working with legal technology such as CLM, workflow, or document automation tools.
- Experience delivering contracting work across global jurisdictions.
Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and timely legal support across defined workstreams including NDAs, contract review, template management, matter intake, entity management, and governance documentation.
- Manage assigned matters in accordance with agreed service levels, playbooks, and escalation procedures.
- Maintain and update legal templates, playbooks, and knowledge bases.
- Collaborate with global legal teams to ensure consistent delivery.
- Support legal technology and automation initiatives, including document automation and workflow tools.
- Ensure compliance with internal governance, data privacy, and confidentiality standards.
- Identify opportunities to improve process efficiency and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Escalate complex or non-standard matters to senior colleagues or the Team Leader where required.
