About the Job

Kotak is hiring a Legal Coordinator to support its banking and recovery-related legal functions. The role involves handling legal proceedings, coordinating recovery matters, and managing litigation-related processes arising from banking operations.

Eligibility

• LL.B. or B.A. LL.B.
• 1–2 years of experience in banking-related legal matters.
• Good case-handling and coordination skills.

Experience Required

Candidates should have experience in:

• Section 138 (Cheque Bounce) matters.
• Debt Recovery Tribunal (DRT) proceedings.
• Arbitration cases.
• Section 25 complaints.
• Other banking and recovery-related legal processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage recovery-related legal matters.
• Assist in handling proceedings under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act.
• Support DRT and arbitration proceedings.
• Monitor and coordinate legal actions relating to recovery cases.
• Liaise with internal teams and external counsel as required.
• Maintain case records and ensure timely follow-up on legal proceedings.
