About the Job

Kotak is hiring a Legal Coordinator to support its banking and recovery-related legal functions. The role involves handling legal proceedings, coordinating recovery matters, and managing litigation-related processes arising from banking operations.

Eligibility

LL.B. or B.A. LL.B.
1–2 years of experience in banking-related legal matters.
Good case-handling and coordination skills.

Experience Required

Candidates should have experience in:

Section 138 (Cheque Bounce) matters.
Debt Recovery Tribunal (DRT) proceedings.
Arbitration cases.
Section 25 complaints.
Other banking and recovery-related legal processes.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage recovery-related legal matters.
Assist in handling proceedings under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act.
Support DRT and arbitration proceedings.
Monitor and coordinate legal actions relating to recovery cases.
Liaise with internal teams and external counsel as required.
Maintain case records and ensure timely follow-up on legal proceedings.
