About the Job
Saga Legal is seeking Associates to join its Litigation Team in Bangalore. The role is suited for proactive and detail-oriented professionals with litigation experience, strong drafting and research capabilities, and familiarity with court procedures in Bangalore.
Eligibility
- 1–2 years of experience in civil, commercial, and/or criminal litigation.
- Strong drafting, research, and analytical skills.
- Working knowledge of Bangalore court procedures and practices.
- Proficiency in Kannada (spoken and written preferred).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and analysis, including reviewing statutes, case laws, and regulatory developments to support case strategy.
- Manage legal matters and ensure timely handling of cases and adherence to deadlines.
- Draft pleadings, notices, affidavits, applications, and other legal documents with accuracy and clarity.
- Appear before courts in Bangalore and assist in hearings, filings, and case proceedings.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, court procedures, and professional ethical standards.
Preferred Skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple matters simultaneously.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Professional approach to client and court interactions.
- Proficiency in MS Word and understanding of MS Excel.
