About the Job
Makhija & Associates is inviting applications for the position of Junior Advocate – Intellectual Property for its office in Thane, Mumbai. This is a full-time, on-site role. The selected candidate will work with the firm’s Intellectual Property team and assist in handling litigation, prosecution, drafting, research, and client-related matters.
Eligibility
- LL.B. degree from a recognised university
- Enrolment with the Bar Council of India
- 0–2 years of post-qualification experience
- Strong knowledge of Intellectual Property laws will be preferred
- Excellent research, drafting, communication, and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Assisting senior advocates in Intellectual Property litigation and prosecution matters
- Conducting legal research on trademark, copyright, patent, and related laws
- Drafting legal notices, pleadings, agreements, and other legal documents
- Attending hearings and coordinating with courts, tribunals, and government authorities
- Managing case files, deadlines, and client communications
- Supporting the development and execution of legal strategies for clients
