Advocate Mohammad M. Abdi is hiring a Legal Associate for his chambers in Mumbai. The practice primarily involves litigation before the Bombay High Court, National Green Tribunal (NGT), Sessions Courts, Trial Courts, and other judicial and quasi-judicial forums. The selected candidate will gain exposure to matters relating to criminal law, environmental law, consumer law, matrimonial law, intellectual property, commercial disputes, real estate, service law, and rights-based public law litigation.

Eligibility

Applicants should have:

• 2–3 years of work experience.
• A law degree from a recognised law school or institute.
• A valid Sanad and registration with the Bar Council of India (BCI) (mandatory).
• Strong legal research, communication, and drafting skills.
• Proficiency in SCC Online, Manupatra, MS Word, or Apple Pages.
• Proficiency in English, Marathi, and Hindi.
• A personal laptop.

Responsibilities

• Appear before the Bombay High Court, National Green Tribunal (NGT), Trial Courts, and other judicial and quasi-judicial forums.
• Handle client and case management.
• Conduct legal research and draft petitions, applications, and other legal documents.
• Prepare case notes, synopses, and briefs.
