About the Job

Amicus – Advocates & Solicitors is hiring a Legal Associate for the Real Estate team (Corporate Law).

Eligibility

• LLB degree from a recognised law school with a strong academic record.
• 0-2 years of experience in real estate law, preferably in a law firm setting.
• Familiarity with real estate transactions, including title diligence, regulatory compliance, and documentation.

Work Profile

• Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating real estate-related documents, including sale and purchase agreements, lease agreements, and loan documentation.
• Conduct thorough legal research on real estate laws, regulations, and case law.
• Participate in due diligence exercises such as title searches, review of land records, and verification of development approvals.
• Support the Partner in managing transactions from inception to completion.
• Liaise with clients, government authorities, and other stakeholders.
• Maintain and organise legal files, documents, and correspondence related to real estate matters.
• Keep abreast of developments in real estate law and provide updates to the team.
