About the Job

Suresh & Co. is hiring for the position of Legal Associate. The role is suited for candidates with 2–4 years of experience in Trade Mark law and Intellectual Property practice.

Eligibility

Candidates applying for the role should have:

• An LL.B. degree from a recognised institution
• 2–4 years of practical experience in Trade Mark practice
• Excellent legal drafting and analytical skills
• Familiarity with IP litigation and registry procedures
• Strong professional communication skills

An LL.M. in Intellectual Property Law will be considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Managing daily correspondence and communications
• Drafting and preparing documents for Trade Mark prosecution and litigation
• Attending show cause hearings, where required
• Providing advisory support on Intellectual Property issues, particularly statutory compliance
• Ensuring adherence to statutory timelines, including timely filings and procedural responses
• Handling miscellaneous legal and administrative tasks supporting the firm’s operations
