About the Job

Spark Legal is hiring a Senior Associate for its Transaction Advisory and General Corporate practice in Mumbai. The role covers M&A, venture capital transactions, FEMA, and general corporate advisory for founders, startups, investors, and growing businesses. The Senior Associate will be expected to lead matters, work directly with clients and counterparties, and manage junior team members.

Eligibility

4–5 years of post-qualification experience.
4–5 years of transactional experience specifically in VC and M&A matters.
Strong experience handling transactional matters.
Ability to independently lead matters.
Ability to work directly with clients and counterparties.
Experience managing junior team members.
In-house or predominantly general corporate experience will not count towards the PQE requirement for this role.

Responsibilities

Handle and lead M&A transactions.
Advise on venture capital transactions.
Provide FEMA-related legal advice.
Advise founders, startups, investors, and growing businesses on general corporate matters.
Lead transactional matters from execution through completion.
Work directly with clients and counterparties.
Manage and supervise junior team members.
