About the Job

SK & Partners is inviting applications for the position of Associate – Corporate for its growing team in Delhi-NCR.

The role involves working closely with experienced partners and senior lawyers on complex domestic and cross-border transactions, while developing technical, commercial and client-management skills.

Eligibility

Qualified lawyer with 2–3 years of relevant experience.
Experience in general corporate advisory and corporate transactions, including M&A and private equity.
Strong academic credentials.
Sound understanding of company law, securities laws and foreign exchange regulations.
Strong legal research, analytical and drafting skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Good time-management and organisational abilities.
Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines.
Proactive, collaborative and commercially minded approach.
Willingness to take ownership of work, receive feedback and build a long-term career in corporate law.

Responsibilities

Working on live M&A, private equity, joint venture and corporate commercial matters.
Assisting with transaction structuring.
Conducting legal due diligence.
Drafting and reviewing transaction documents.
Participating in negotiations.
Developing skills in deal strategy, commercial drafting, negotiation and client management.
Taking increasing responsibility for matters and developing the capability to lead transactions independently.
