About the Programme
The Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Programme on Criminal Defence Practice seeks to develop a cadre of skilled, socially conscious criminal defence lawyers practising at the trial court level, particularly from non-elite and underrepresented backgrounds. The programme combines immersive learning, mentorship, casework supervision, and interdisciplinary engagement to strengthen criminal defence representation and access to justice.
