About the Job
Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change invites applications for filling up of twenty-two (22) posts of Associates (Legal) on a contractual basis in the Policy & Law Division of the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change (MoEFCC) on payment
of a consolidated monthly remuneration ranging from ₹40,000/- to ₹1,00,000/-.

| Associate (Legal) – D | LLB Graduate + More than 4 years and upto 5 years experience Or Master’s Degree in Law (LL.M) and having experience of more than 1 year. | ₹70,000 |
| Associate (Legal) – E | LLB Graduate + More than 5 years and upto 6 years experience Or Master’s Degree in Law (LL.M) and having experience of 2 years. | ₹80,000 |
| Associate (Legal) – F | LLB Graduate + More than 6 years and upto 7years experience Or Master’s Degree in Law (LL.M) and having experience of more than 3 years. | ₹90,000 |
| Associate (Legal) – G | LLB Graduate + More than 7 years experience Or Master’s Degree in Law (LL.M) from a recognized University and/ or Institute in India, recognized by the Bar Council of India and having experience of more than 4 years. | ₹1,00,000 |
Note:
Essential:
- For Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B) or equivalent from a recognized University and/ or Institute in India, recognized by the Bar Council of India.
- For Master’s Degree in Law (LL.M) from a recognized University and/ or Institute in India, recognized by the Bar Council of India and having experience of more than three (3) years.
- Enrolled as an Advocate with the Bar Council of India or any State Bar Council, under the provisions of The Advocates Act, 1961.
Desirable:
- experience of handling cases related to environment, forests, biodiversity and wildlife etc.in a Government of India or State Government Department/ Board;
- possessing a Diploma/ Certificate of specialization in related subjects/ fields from a recognized University/ Institution.
- at least one legal research paper published in a peer-reviewed law journal

Duration
