About the Job

They are strengthening our Insolvency & Bankruptcy practice and are looking to onboard a dynamic Associate with 1-2 years of post-qualification experience for their Mumbai office.

This role offers exposure to contentious and advisory matters under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016, including proceedings before NCLT, NCLAT, and other judicial forums, along with restructuring and insolvency advisory work.

Eligibility

• LL.B. from a recognised university and enrolled with the Bar Council of India
•  1-2 years PQE in IBC / NCLT litigation
• Strong legal drafting and research capability
•  Sound understanding of IBC, Companies Act, and NCLT procedures
•  Strong analytical and communication skills
•  Ability to manage multiple matters and adhere to timelines
•  Proficiency in MS Office and legal research databases

Responsibilities

• Draft petitions, applications, replies, rejoinders, and written submissions under IBC
•  Assist in proceedings before NCLT and NCLAT
•  Conduct legal research on insolvency, restructuring, and corporate law issues
•  Support CIRP and liquidation processes
•  Prepare legal opinions, advisory notes, and case summaries
•  Brief senior counsel and assist in preparation of arguments
•  Liaise with Resolution Professionals, clients, and internal teams
•  Manage case documentation, filings, and procedural compliances
