About the Job

This is a full-time on-site role for a Legal Associate at Initium Law in Bengaluru. Please consider applying ONLY if you meet the requirements given below –

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law
• PQE: 0-1 years of experience
• Mandatory that the candidate have strong drafting skills. Prior experience in drafting Writ Petitions, written arguments, objections, and rejoinders are strongly preferred.
• Mandatory that the candidate should have demonstrable experience or exposure in Insolvency & Bankruptcy law, Company law and some experience dealing with commercial disputes.
• Any experience in contract drafting and vetting is preferred.
• Should have excellent communication skills, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

Should be able to independently draft and finish assignments within the stipulated deadline Should be able to independently form legal opinion on matters assigned. Should have some exposure in appearing before courts. Preferable if the candidate has some amount of NCLT experience.
