Eligibility
They are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented lawyer with 2–3 years of post-qualification experience to join our Banking & Finance team. The role involves advising banks, financial institutions, corporates, and borrowers on a broad spectrum of financing transactions, including project finance, real estate finance, compliance, regulatory issues, and restructuring matters.
Job Description: Associate — Banking & Finance (2–3 Years PQE)
Responsibilities
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of financing documents including:
- Loan Agreements
- Security Documents (hypothecation, mortgage, pledge agreements)
- Inter-Creditor Agreements
- Deeds of Hypothecation and Guarantees
- Facility Agreements (term loans, working capital, project finance)
- Advising on legal and regulatory aspects of financing transactions, including compliance with RBI, SEBI, and other financial sector regulations.
- Conducting legal due diligence on companies and their assets for secured lending and structured finance transactions.
- Assisting in transaction structuring for project finance, acquisition finance, real estate finance, and corporate loans.
- Coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders including clients, banks, NBFCs, rating agencies, and regulatory bodies.
- Advising on enforcement of security and recovery actions under laws such as SARFAESI Act, IBC, and relevant civil remedies.
- Keeping abreast of legal and regulatory developments in banking, finance, and insolvency laws.
