About the Job

Corporate Professionals is looking for a skilled and committed Legal Associate to join the Corporate Advisory and  Dispute Resolution team.

Eligibility

  • Qualifications & Skills Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in law
  • AIBE Qualified and registered with the Bar Council of India
  • PQE of 3-5 years in a legal or consulting firm, preferably with prior experience in corporate advisory, commercial litigation, arbitration, Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code matters, regulatory investigations, white-collar crimes, ED/PMLA proceedings
  • Strong drafting, research, networking, interpersonal skills and verbal communication skills
  • Good command of Corporate Laws, Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, Civil Procedure Code, Evidence Act, Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), and related regulatory frameworks
  • Strong interpretation and research skills
  • Good Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to handie & clients/assignments multiple work collaboratively in a team environment and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

In this role, your responsibilities will  extend to providing legal advice on corporate advisory matters and disputes, preparing case  strategies, drafting pleadings and court documents, filing petitions and appeals (including under  the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code), handling the complete voluntary liquidation process,  drafting legal notices, representing clients in regulatory investigations and white-collar crime  matters (including those involving Enforcement Directorate (ED) and Prevention of Money  Laundering Act (PMLA)), appearing before courts and tribunals, and managing litigation and  arbitration matters.

Other responsibilities include preparing legal opinions, performing in-depth  research, and staying updated on relevant laws. The role involves a multifaceted approach to ensure  effective corporate advisory, dispute resolution, insolvency proceedings, and advocacy on behalf  of our clients.
