About the Job
CNM Law is inviting applications for the following positions in Civil and Commercial Litigation and Arbitration, based in Delhi.
Practice Areas: Office primarily handles Civil Writ Petitions before the High Court and SLPs and Appeals before the Supreme Court, along with appearances before Trial Courts, Arbitral Tribunals, NCLT, and other quasi-judicial forums.
1. Associate (Litigation and Arbitration)
Number of Positions: 1 (One)
Eligibility
- Strong drafting, research and communication skills.
- Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in Supreme Court of India.
- PQE: 0-1 year
Responsibilities
- Drafting of Plaints, Written Statements, Applications, Writ Petitions, Replies/Counter Affidavits, Statements of Claim, Statements of Defence, Counter-claims, Rejoinders, etc.
- Drafting and vetting of settlement agreements, consent terms, legal notices, and replies to demand/legal notices.
- Providing legal opinions and conducting client conferences.
- Appearing before the Supreme Court of India, High Court of Delhi, Trial Courts, Arbitral Tribunals, NCLT, and other quasi-judicial authorities.
- Conducting in-depth legal research.
2. Assessment Internship
Eligibility
- 5th year students of Five Year Course OR 3rd year students of Three Year Course.
- Good research skills.
- Prior internship experience of minimum 5 months.
Duration
Minimum 4 weeks (extendable based on performance).
