About the Job
Kwalee is hiring a Legal Assistant to join its Legal Team at its Bangalore studio, working on-site, 5 days a week.

The Legal Assistant will report to the Legal Counsel and will support the legal teams in India and the UK, handling a wide range of legal and administrative responsibilities aligned with business needs.
Responsibilities
The Legal Assistant will be responsible for:
- Drafting, reviewing, and analysing a wide range of commercial contracts
- Supporting contract lifecycle management, including document production, e-signatures, filing, and organization
- Maintaining and updating the Legal Management Information System (MIS)
- Legal document and database administration
- Administration of legal tools (including Pandadoc and contract integration tools)
- Assisting with administration of Kwalee’s intellectual property portfolio
- Conducting legal research, including legislation and case law analysis
- Supporting due diligence and industry research
- Assisting with legal team projects and internal policy implementation
- Supporting early-stage dispute resolution administration
- Assisting with data subject access requests (data protection)
- Filing takedown notices for clone games and proactive research to identify clone games
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
- Providing general administrative support to the legal team
Eligibility & Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law
- 2+ years of experience in a legal environment, preferably in-house within the video games or technology industry
- Working knowledge of Intellectual Property law
- Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Commercially minded with a solution-oriented approach
- Proactive attitude with willingness to learn and grow
- Based on-site in Bangalore
