About the Job

Rightsline is hiring a Legal Analyst who will report to the Legal Analysts Manager. The role involves working with customers and internal teams on contract interpretation and ingestion-related services.

The position is client-facing and involves managing deal ingestion for the Rightsline solution, while also contributing to process implementation and project execution.

Eligibility

  • LLB degree.
  • 2 years of experience in the legal field.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or a related field is preferred, in addition to the LLB or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience in contract interpretation and contract ingestion.
  • Experience with North American and/or Media and Entertainment contracts is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent analytical, organisational and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a time-sensitive, deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to review functional requirements, analysis and implementation documents and provide feedback.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgement and resolve problems without supervision.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret and ingest deal terms for North American clients in the Media and Entertainment industry.
  • Ingest deal terms into the user interface while ensuring processes and standards are followed.
  • Serve as an expert in contract interpretation and ingestion for Media and Entertainment clients, primarily through Rightsline.
  • Support solution design and execution for assigned projects.
  • Evaluate business requirements for contract life-cycle management across applications and systems.
  • Identify customer requirements and use cases and track and document project execution and delivery.
  • Manage risks and alert the manager about potential escalations and important issues.
  • Ensure requirements and solutions are understood, agreed upon and signed off at appropriate project stages.
  • Analyse processes and workflows and suggest improvements through technology or business process enhancements.
  • Build relationships with business users and understand their processes and use of technology to develop improvements.
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Product and QA teams to ensure relevant releases and customer initiatives are understood and delivered on time.
  • Arrange and administer customer training where required.
  • Complete training to support professional growth and development.

Work Environment

  • Candidates should be based in Noida/NCR.
  • Flexibility to work in required shifts is expected.
