ShareChat is hiring Lead – Legal
Eligibility
- Law graduate (LL.B.); LL.M. preferred
- 4–6 years PQE, with top-tier law firm experience preferred
- Strong grounding in technology transactions and product advisory
- Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity and influence cross-functional stakeholders
- Known for sound judgment, precision, and a business-first mindset
Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic legal partner to product and business teams, advising across the full product lifecycle
- Lead drafting and negotiation of complex commercial and technology agreements, including SaaS, licensing, and strategic partnerships and platform terms.
- Provide clear, risk-calibrated advice on product, regulatory, and compliance matters (data privacy, consumer protection, IP)
- Enable product launches and scale through pragmatic legal guidance and risk assessment
- Build and refine policy frameworks and governance structures aligned with business objectives including Product compliance playbooks, Content and user safety policies, Data governance and retention frameworks
- You will monitor evolving regulatory landscapes and proactively advise stakeholders on upcoming legal and policy changes impacting the business
