About the Job

Lectio Law Offices is currently seeking a dedicated Law Clerk to join their team in Delhi. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting their legal teams with a wide range of clerical and court-related tasks.

Eligibility

• Experience as a Law Clerk with a strong understanding of filing procedures and court processes across District Courts, High Courts and the Supreme Court.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Preferred: A law degree (LLB)

Responsibilities

• Preparing and organizing case files: Ensure that all necessary documents and files are in order for court hearings, trials, and client meetings.
• Notarization and filing: Handle the notarization, stamping, and filing of suits, petitions, complaints, written statements, and other legal documents in courts (District Courts, High Courts, and the Supreme Court).
• Court-related duties: Attend District Courts, High Courts, and the Supreme Court to assist lawyers with various court-related matters and ensure smooth procedural functions.
• List of matters: Maintain and update a comprehensive list of all pending matters of the firm.
• Document service: Serve legal documents to relevant parties, ensuring compliance with court procedures and deadlines.
• Clerical support: Assist lawyers and senior staff with other clerical and administrative tasks.
• General support to the legal team: Assist in all aspects of litigation support.
