About the Job

The Odisha Public Service Commission is recruiting for the post of Language Officer in the Law Department, Odisha. A total of three vacancies have been announced for this position.

Eligibility

  • Candidates must have:
    • Graduation with Odia as an Honours subject; or
    • Graduation with English as an Honours subject and Odia as a Pass or compulsory subject; or
    • Post-graduation in Odia and graduation in Law from a recognised university.
  • At least seven years of service; or
  • At least three years of service for candidates having at least one year of experience in translation work in any Group ‘C’ or Group ‘B’ post in one or more Government Departments.
  • Candidates must not have completed 45 years of age as on 01.01.2026.

Salary

Rs. 35,400/- (Level-9 of the Pay Matrix under the ORSP Rules, 2017)
