About the Job

The Centre for Innovation Policy and Governance (CIPG) is hiring a Junior Research Associate to support its research and policy advocacy initiatives. The role involves conducting research, analysing data, preparing reports, and engaging with stakeholders to develop evidence-based policy solutions.

Eligibility

Applicants should have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Public Policy, Economics, Sociology, or a related discipline. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to analyse complex data and information.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
• Good organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct literature reviews and background research on topics related to knowledge and innovation ecosystems, policy, governance, and socio-economic development.
• Collect, analyse, and interpret qualitative and quantitative data.
• Assist in designing and implementing research projects.
• Prepare research reports, policy briefs, and other documentation to communicate findings and recommendations.
• Contribute to the development of academic articles and presentations.
• Participate in meetings, workshops, and conferences to present research findings and engage with policymakers, researchers, and other stakeholders.
• Assist in organising and facilitating workshops, public lectures, public discussions, and other events.
