About the Job
Ather Energy is hiring an IP Paralegal & Admin to support its intellectual property operations. The role involves managing IP compliance, docketing, repository administration, financial tracking, audits, stakeholder coordination, and IP-related administrative functions.
Eligibility
Applicants should have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B./B.A. LL.B.), Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3–7 years of experience as an IP Paralegal, IP Operations Specialist, or Legal Administrator.
- Experience in an automotive or technology company, or a leading intellectual property law firm, is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Monitor domestic and international statutory deadlines, including office actions, renewals, and filings, and prepare statutory documentation.
- Establish, maintain, and audit physical and digital intellectual property repositories to ensure audit readiness.
- Manage financial tracking, expenditure monitoring, quarterly provisioning and forecasting, and process domestic and international attorney invoices.
- Prepare and manage data for quarterly, annual, statutory, and financial audits within the IP department.
- Oversee data validation, repository maintenance, and governance of IP management platforms, including vendor onboarding and renewals.
- Maintain alignment between internal trademark records and public-facing assets, and prepare monthly and quarterly MIS reports.
- Coordinate with external vendors, manage IT and administrative setup, conduct vendor IT audits, and support organisational updates and employee exit processes.
- Manage IP awards data, arrange inventor certificates and trophies, and organise internal IP events and annual Ideathons.
