The Ministry of Commerce and Industry invites application for the post of Junior Consultant (Legal) in Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade.

Name of the Post: Junior Consultant (Legal)

Eligibility

• Age Limit: 35 Years
• Master’s degree in law from a reputed and recognized University or Institution.
• Candidate should have 3+ years of work experience in the following area: (a) Experience in interpreting legal provisions related to Govt, of India Schemes under applicable laws and scheme notifications, (b) Legal Drafting including drafting of counter affidavits, appeals, petitions, response to legal notice, contempt petition, speaking orders, (c) Experience in handling of legal cases arising out of the implementation of Central Government Schemes/Policies, including coordination with legal counsel and government stakeholders and tendering legal opinion, and (d) Experience of working in fully computerized environment including in e-Office, MS Office etc.
• Desirable: Work experience in dealing with Court matters related to Govt. Schemes / policies etc.

Remuneration

Rs. 0.6 – 1.00 Lakhs (Based on suitability and experience of candidate)
