About the Job

This is a full-time, on-site role as a Junior Associate located in Pune. The Junior Associate with Adv Hemant Kelkar will assist with drafting and reviewing contracts, conducting legal due diligence, ensuring corporate compliance and advisory and preparing legal documents and assisting Associates in other assigned tasks. Responsibilities also include collaborating with clients, researching legal matters, and supporting various legal projects as assigned.

Eligibility

• LLB from a recognized university (2024/2025 graduates preferred)
• Strong command of English (written & spoken); Hindi/Marathi reading knowledge advantageous.
• Familiarity with MS Word, contract drafting templates, and legal research platforms.
• Excellent research, analytical, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environment.
• Immediate joiners preferred. 

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, agreements, and legal documents under senior supervision.
• Conduct legal research on corporate laws, contract law, DPDP Act, labor codes, and sector-specific regulations.
• Assist Associates and Partners in client meetings, due diligence, and compliance audits.
• Prepare legal opinions, checklists, and documentation for transactions and advisory.
• Track case filings, statutory deadlines, and maintain client matter files.
• Support business development through research and pitch preparation.
