About the Job

Singhania & Partners LLP is hiring a Senior Associate for its Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice in Bengaluru. The role involves handling litigation matters across courts and tribunals in Karnataka.

Eligibility

Qualification:

• LL.B. from a recognized university
• Enrolment with the Karnataka State Bar Council

Experience:

• 8–10 years of active litigation experience
• Prior experience in handling civil and commercial litigation and arguing matters before courts in Bengaluru
• Strong drafting and litigation skills
• Practical understanding of court procedures
• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines
• Strong communication and client-handling skills
• High level of diligence, ownership, and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Ability to read and speak Kannada

Responsibilities

• Handle litigation matters before District Courts, City Civil Courts, Commercial Courts, High Courts, and tribunals
• Draft pleadings, applications, affidavits, notices, replies, and written submissions
• Review and finalize drafts prepared by junior associates
• Guide and train associates in drafting and court procedures
• Conduct legal research and prepare case briefs and opinions
• Assist in case strategy and support senior counsels
• Appear in court for hearings, adjournments, and procedural matters
• Coordinate with clients, counsels, court clerks, and registry offices
• Manage filings, track case progress, and ensure procedural compliance
• Maintain accurate records of case files
