About the Job

Adv Akshara Ramadas is inviting applications for the position of Junior Associate. The role offers exposure to both Litigation and Corporate/Commercial Law, including contract drafting, compliance, and data privacy matters.

Eligibility

• LL.B. from a recognised university
• Enrollment with Bar Council preferred (freshers awaiting enrollment may apply)
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Strong analytical and legal interpretation skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Professional and collaborative approach
• Willingness to work across multiple practice areas
• Personal laptop and reliable internet connection required

Responsibilities

• Assist in litigation research, drafting, and court procedures
• Draft and review commercial agreements (NDAs, MSAs, Service Agreements, etc.)
• Support compliance audits and data privacy advisory
• Conduct legal research and prepare legal memos
• Coordinate with clients and provide timely updates
• Assist in IP and emerging regulatory matters

Work Structure

• Primarily Work From Home
• Physical presence required for court appearances and meetings when necessary

Working Hours

• 9 hours per day
• Weekends off (except urgent filings/deadlines)
