About the Job
Wordict-IP is seeking applications from eligible candidates for the position of Junior Associate – Intellectual Property Prosecution & Litigation at its Hyderabad office.
The role provides exposure to both contentious and non-contentious intellectual property matters, including prosecution, opposition proceedings, enforcement actions, advisory work, and commercial litigation. The selected candidate will be involved in intellectual property prosecution, litigation support, legal research, and court-related work.
Eligibility
- 0–2 years of post-qualification experience.
- Strong drafting, research, and analytical abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and adhere to timelines.
Responsibilities
- File and prosecute trademark and copyright applications.
- Handle opposition, rectification, and related proceedings before the Trade Marks Registry.
- Draft notices, pleadings, written submissions, and other litigation-related documentation.
- Conduct legal research, portfolio management, and ensure compliance with statutory deadlines.
- Draft plaints, written statements, writ petitions, affidavits, appeals, and related court pleadings.
- Assist in commercial agreements, advisory work, and dispute resolution matters.
- Appear before the Trade Marks Registry, Copyright Registry, District Courts, and the High Court.
Preferred Qualifications
Preference may be given to candidates based in Hyderabad with prior experience in Intellectual Property, media and entertainment law, technology law, or litigation practice.
