About the Job
Applications are invited for the position of Junior Advocate. This role is ideal for freshly enrolled lawyers looking to develop strong research skills and gain practical experience in litigation.
Eligibility
- Law degree (3-year or 5-year) from a recognized law school
- Freshly enrolled lawyer with 3 months to 1.5 years of litigation experience
- Strong aptitude for legal research
- Proficiency in English and Tamil (written and verbal)
- Process-oriented with attention to accuracy
- Inclination towards constitutional values such as secularism, non-discrimination, scientific temper, and fraternity
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth legal research on statutes and case laws (Indian and international)
- Assist the Senior Advocate in case preparation and during court hearings
- Stay updated on legal trends and legislative changes
- Manage case briefs and documentation
