Aumirah, the word, is the portmanteau of two Sanskrit origin words and found in numerous Hindu texts i.e., Aum [the primordial sound] + Irah [the other name for Goddess of Knowledge, Saraswati] – thus the name constantly reminds us of the age-old Indian practice of assigning divinity to knowledge and its bearer, and protect it and manage it.

About the Job

They have created a position of “Jr/Sr Research Fellow”. The areas of research include business laws such as intellectual property law, contracts, investment laws, commercial laws, negotiable instruments, media, technology, and other business laws, and their comparative laws [in EP, US, UK, Singapore].  This is strictly a legal research position/fellowship.

Eligibility

  • For fresh law graduates or those with experience of up to 2 years in academia.
  • They are looking for candidates who have a high interest in legal research and want to further their careers as legal researchers in industry or academia. 
  • Law graduate with up to 2 years of experience in legal research
  • Exceptional language skills in Hindi and English
  • Familiarity with research tools, databases
  • Consistently decent academic performance from 10th standard onwards
